The latest updates to the COVID-19 restrictions, valid from the 7th June, are allowing widespread returns to paddlesport activity at all levels. An easing of both travel restrictions and an increase in activity levels will allow for this return to paddling, when all other government health advice is followed.

  • Organised outdoor paddling activity including contact sport can resume for all in pods of 15 including supervisor
  • Indoor facilities can be used for individual training only
  • You can travel between counties in Ireland

As with all paddlesports activity please ensure to adhere to all Canoeing Ireland safety guidelines when getting out on the water.
